What is CSI?
David Boje and Grace Ann Rosile are developing a new methodology called Conversational Storytelling Inquiry (CSI) that combines storytelling, conversation, and inquiry to understand and analyze organizations. They argue that CSI, inspired by the Maori concept of "Braided Rivers," can be used to achieve a deeper understanding of complex issues and create a more collaborative environment within an organization. They also draw inspiration from Grace Ann Rosile’s "Horse Sense at Work" framework, which incorporates four tests based on the work of Charles Sanders Peirce.
Finally, Boje and Rosile are proposing a new understanding of Triple-Loop learning that moves beyond hierarchical models and integrates quantum physics, indigenous knowledge systems, and the Socio-Economic Approach to Management (SEAM).

It is time for Conversational Storytelling to reform corporations that Rule Over Governments, the Military, and the World. More on Jan 10 Free Zoom Summit event at CSIstory.com
Corporations are places where, if you listen closely, you can hear "microbes yell" (Myra J. Hird, 2009: x). Corporations are not above symbiogenesis, the entanglement of microbial corporate actants.
Corporations have human 'conversational storytelling 'and 'microbial conversational storytelling', creating possibilities for a different future of corporate 'nature cultures" (as Donna Haraway calls them). This is a radical micro-ontology that has macro-ecology consequences for ways human-centric corporations are ruling the world.
The point is corporations are already two kinds of 'conversatoinal storytelling' one human-centric, and the other cellular. The thing that Conversational Storytelling Institute is doing, is bringing the two kinds of conversational storytelling into dialogue.
The atoms and molecules of corporations are actants that human-centric notions of corporate, overlook. In corporations, as Latour puts it in Actor-Network-Theory, the things themselves are actants, not just signified or tools of corporate praxis.
Every corporation has thingness, material storytelling, a 'cellular-molecular-bacterial conversational storytelling' summoning other actants to assemble a 'sociable' life of things-in-corporations.
A third kind, of the first two doing together-telling
These three kinds of conversational storytelling are bringing forth the future of the corporate world, becoming hybrid actant, absolutely entangled in natureculture for potentially better results on such things as waste management practices.
