So portable bluetooth speakers are usually competing on three things - volume, sound quality, and aesthetics. Other things like features, mic quality, and weight definitely matter, but I would say most people make their bluetooth speaker purchases based on those, and when someone shows you their new speaker, those are almost definitely the first things they mention.

And in this crowded space of bluetooth speakers, Sony made a massive leap forward with these two new speakers. But are they enough to stand out? Honestly, I would say this one is my new favorite portable speaker for most situatiuons
