Oeschinensee, Kandersteg (Solo Travel) | Lake Oeschinen, Switzerland🇨🇭

My solo trip to Oeschinensee (Lake Oeschinen, a UNESCO World Heritage site) in early October 2022 on a weekday.

Unlike what I did, I recommend you to spend a full day to the lake so you can enjoy it to the fullest and try activities like their mountain coaster, hiking the panoramic trail, picnic at the lake, take a boat, etc.

Pro Tip: Avoid weekends to avoid crowds and save on accommodation.

Not into hiking or have mobility issues? Take the shuttle bus to take you directly to the lake.
