How To Use A Lumberjack Tools Tenon Cutter, Demo And Tips

In this video I demonstrate how to use a tenon cutter to quickly and efficiently cut consistently sized tenons in a very fast manner.

While a tenon cutter will cut tenons a lot faster for you and help speed up your production some people may greatly prefer the look of a hand cut tenon such as the one I showed in a previous video.

The main difference between using a tenon cutter to cut tenons and a draw knife will be the angle and appearance of the tenons shoulder.

With a tenon cutter you will have shoulders that are consistent and the same but do not necessarily show off the wood grin to the extent it could, While with a draw knife the wood grain is shown off in a more beautiful way but the downfall with a draw knife tenon comes into play when thinking about the work involved and the time involved.
