Women's History Month: Mary Mathews

If you grew up in Yorktown, then you probably heard of or even dined at Nick's Seafood Pavilion, co-owned by Mary Mathews and her husband Nick, Greek immigrants living the American dream. Nick's Seafood Pavilion was a nationally renowned Yorktown landmark. Elizabeth Taylor, John Wayne, and Tony Bennett were just some of the celebrities who traveled to Hampton Roads for the famous eatery.
