SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE & ACHIEVEMENTS
Having completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute ofTechnology (IIT-Madras),Chennai, in the year 2000, he was employed as a Systems
Engineer in Tata Consultancy Services, Hyderabad for a brief while before he left the software industry behind to pursue his interests in Indian Culture and spirituality. He worked in collaboration with the International Forum for India’s Heritage (IFIH) as the National
Coordinator, between 2001-2003.
He joined the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in 2003 where he helped in the conceptualization and implementation of a unique cultural education programme for
students and faculty members.
He was also the Convenor of the Human Excellence Programme (value education) at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Coimbatore Kendra from 2007-2013. During his tenure at the BVB, he was instrumental in introducing a course on Human Excellence for the BVB
schools. A course on Human Excellence designed for UG and PG students by him was also adopted by Bharathiar University into their university curriculum.
He was the recipient of the Yuva Shakti Youth Achievers’ Award 2005 (Tamilnadu) for his commitment and contribution in spreading awareness of India’s rich cultural heritage
amongst students and the general public.
He was a founder member of the Vivekananda Study Circle at IIT-Madras, Chennai.
He writes for journals like The Vedanta Kesari, Yuva Bharati, MyInd Makers, Bharat Nit,
Vijayvaani and other portals. He has authored a book “Model for the Modern Youth” based
on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

He is the Convenor of the Coimbatore chapter of Indic Academy. He is the Secretary General of Ekal Sansthan Coimbatore and Join Secretary of the Bharateeya Itihasa Sankalana Samiti.
He is also a senior Consultant for NCERT and NSTC Program Office (National
Syllabus and Textbook Material Committee) involved in the implementation of the National
Education Policy (NEP 2020) and National Curriculum Framework for School Education NCFSE) in the domain of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).
