One morning, AumSum woke up with a strange urge. He picked up a paintbrush lying on his desk and began painting on a sheet of paper. But when he finished, his hand didn’t stop. It moved on its own, dipping into the colors and sweeping across the wall. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t put the brush down.

He painted across his room, over the door, and down the hallway. The white walls of his house turned into bright swirls, stars, and rivers. His feet carried him outside, and soon the street began to change too. Fences became rainbows, sidewalks turned into giant checkerboards, and lampposts wore patterns like candy canes.

People stopped to watch, amazed at how quickly the world around them transformed. At first, it seemed harmless, even fun. The town had never looked so colorful. But then, while AumSum was painting near the river, he noticed something alarming. A huge crack had formed in the side of the old dam.

Water was trickling through, and the pressure was building fast. If the dam broke, the rushing water would flood the town below. AumSum’s heart pounded. He couldn’t stop painting, but maybe he could use that to help. Without wasting a second, he ran toward the dam and began painting thick layers over the crack.

The paint from his magical brush hardened instantly, sealing part of the gap. But the water was still pushing hard, and more cracks were appearing. Thinking quickly, AumSum sprinted along the dam, painting layer after layer, turning the gray concrete into a bright shield of colors.

His hands moved faster than ever, creating patterns so thick and strong that the water couldn’t break through. The crowd that had gathered below gasped as the flow slowed and finally stopped. AumSum had once again saved the town.
