An educational institution ( RVS Group ) has constructed 3 temples in this town. The first one is the Arupadai Veedu Murugan Temple. The uniqueness of this temple is that if one visits and prays here, he/she will get the benefit of visiting all the six arupadai veedu temples! There are six shrines established for the six forms of Murugan, as He is present in Pazhani, Tiruparankundram, Swamimalai, Pazhamudhirsolai, Tiruchendur and Tiruttani. The directions of the Murthis in each shrine is as present in the original temples and the Murthis are also made similarly representing each one of them. Hence we can have darshan of Murugan in the form of an Andi (Pazhani ), with the spear to kill Surapadman ( Tiruchendur ), Wedding with Devasena ( Tiruparankundram ), with both Valli and Devasena ( Tiruttani ), Swaminathan ( Swamimalai ) and the meditative posture ( Pazhamudhirsolai ). Since the main shrine is done in the Swamimalai style ( elephant instead of peacock ), this temple is called Shri Swaminathan temple. It is also called Kovai Kumara Kottam.

There is a shrine for Kasi Visvanathar with Visalakshi and the 63 Nayanmars are also installed in the prakaram. Vinayaka’s shrine is also done aesthetically. Hanuman, Dakshinamurthy and Dhanvantri are also installed in the prakaram. The uniqueness of the Navagraham shrine is that all the nine planets are carved in a single stone. Everything constructed in this temple is made of crystal white stone including the gopuram. This is perhaps to insist that the devotees should come and pray here with a pure heart.
