Описание к видео David Duchovny and Maureen Dowd in Conversation

Here is something you probably know about David Duchovny: he played one of the 1990s’ most iconic roles, FBI agent Fox Mulder in The X-Files. But here is something you probably don’t know about him: only six years before his big acting break he was a PhD student studying literature at Yale University, planning on becoming a writer. In fact, he wanted to be a poet. Duchovny earned a BA in English literature from Princeton University and an MA in English literature from Yale University and has since published six novels. Maureen Dowd, a Pulitzer Prize-winning op-ed columnist for The New York Times covering American politics, popular culture and international affairs, joins Duchovny to talk about his latest book, The Reservoir, his life and his career in the arts.
