Following a 5:00am departure from Birmingham, passing Warwick and Leamington Spa, I reached Braunston. After the climb over the tunnel there, the route continued South. Riding on through Blisworth and over another long tunnel, then through Wolverton, Milton Keynes Leighton Buzzard and Berkhamsted before reaching Greater London. Then, after turning onto the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union at Bull's Bridge, I started the last few achy miles into the City Centre.

A really worthwhile ride that's been a long time in the planning. What next? I wonder...
