Our neighbors confided in us that the abandoned house belonged to elderly deceased grandparents. They had two sons; one entered a rehabilitation center, and the other, exhibiting unusual symptoms, left home and has not returned. His wife also disappeared, leaving no one to care for the house. With the passing of our grandparents and the sad stories of their sons, we felt a deep pity for the elderly couple. We quietly cleaned up, trimming the overgrown grass neatly, which helped lessen this family's memories and sad stories.
