Clogging in the Top Cyclone Preheater Systems_ English Version.
On this occasion we will explain about the work of overcoming clogging on one cyclones of the top preheater system.
The topmost Preheater cyclones are four cyclone units, or each string line has two cyclone units. And the blockage that occurs is cyclone 1 line 1 or C1 line 1.
When overcoming this cyclone blockage, the kiln is maintained to continue operating, by reducing the kiln feed to line 1 to a minimum and adjusting the use of calciner fuel and suction air from the SP ID Fan to line 1.
The handling of cyclone blockages must be done carefully, and must follow occupational health and safety procedures, because there is a high risk of work accidents.
