Emily Sutton at YSP

In this short film Emily Sutton talks about her work, influences and her largest ever solo exhibition, Town and Country, at YSP.
Adorning the walls of YSP Centre, Town and Country, by celebrated artist Emily Sutton, features a delightful display of original and intricate watercolours and screen-prints, along with a flock of beautifully embroidered birds nesting in the YSP Shop window.
Sutton has taken inspiration from her recent travels to Paris and Southern France as well as scenes closer to her native Yorkshire, including YSP and her own home – which she references in her first ever limited edition lithograph print September Dresser (2014), produced by Curwen Studio and exclusive to YSP.
