Uniden Bearcat 980SSB "beep removal" and a few tune up tips while the lids are off...

This was supposed to be an 8 min look at the basics of a Uniden 980SSB. I'm no expert on the Uniden Bearcat 980SSB but that annoying beep, it had to go....So off the lids came and out with a circuit. While inside, I thought, lets have a play and maybe show a few of you some simple adjustment points to get your Uniden functioning right on specification. Pls be careful to use a very small iron for the removal of the smd resistor. I also caution you on some points to avoid any twisting and turning.
