Meghalaya: BCCI to help build cricket stadium in Ri-Bhoi

Meghalaya Sports Minister Shakliar Warjri has informed that the BCCI has decided to revamp a stadium at Madan Kurkalang in Ri-bhoi District and transform it into a big cricket stadium as per national standards. He informed that the state government is in talks with BCCI in this regard but it will take another two to three months to finalise everything.

And talking further about the development of Sports infrastructure in the state, Warjri said, the upgraded JN Stadium Sports Complex in Shillong will be inaugurated in December.
