DIDCOT RAILWAY CENTRE | "Steam Into The 1940s"

So this week for the 1st time ever I went to Didcot Railway Centre for their 1st-off event "Steam Into The 1940s" and what a day and what a place!
Never knew of such a place where you could freely walk amongst the engines in between the tracks wherever (apart from the demonstration lines & common sense is key) everyone was so kind and helpful and always up for a chat and managed to meet alot of heroes such as the King Class, 18000 and the broad gauge! Would highly reccomened to anyone that has never been such as me because I'll certainly be going back soon for another day out/event as I was just blown away with hows it's run, what they run and what they do in a days work, no matter where you looked or went there was something happening, I was staggered at how many volunteers were there running the place or working on locos you have to see this place for yourself!
