INGREDIENTS :

• 1lb red snapper (or other firm white fish) or 1 lb cod, cut onto 1 1/2" pieces (or other firm white fish)
• 2green onions, chopped
• 3cloves garlic, minced
• 1cup fish stock (or use chicken stock)
• 3tablespoons soy sauce
• 1tablespoon rice vinegar
• 1tablespoon ginger, grated
• 1tablespoon sherry wine
• 1⁄2teaspoon chili pepper, crushed

STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS :

1. In a wok brown the fish on all sides with the green onion& garlic.
2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the fish.
3. Cover& cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
