In this timelapse studio vlog, I demo the process of hand-building a large trio mascaron face (a wall-hanging sculpture) focusing on detailed face sculpting techniques.

Mascaron: Noun, mascaron (plural mascarons) A carved, ornamental face, usually human, sometimes frightening or chimeric whose alleged function was originally to frighten away evil spirits so that they would not enter the building.

Wall-hanging sculpture: aka. wall-mounted sculpture, wall art; or sculpture that is hung flush against a wall and not sitting on the floor or hung from the ceiling
