I made Glinda's popular dress from Wicked the Musical, and I am so thrilled with how it came out! When I first started this project, the Wicked Movie had not come out yet, and for some reason I have always been drawn towards making Glinda’s popular dress - so this is the version I chose! In this video, I’ll take you through the entire process, from fabric choices to final embellishments, showing you how I made Glindas Popular dress from Wicked. Now….fair warning: I did NOT use a pattern for this, because I find it a lot more fun to build upon existing pieces or thrift flip items whenever possible. So I’m sure a lot of you sewists out there are cringing, but on the other hand, I hope this video inspires those of you who want to create amazing looks without needing advanced sewing skills.
