discussing Field Day Theatre Co and its literary output, the Field Day Reviews and Field Day Anthology of Irish Writing (1991), in great detail and from an academic standpoint, highlighting Field Day’s intellectual responses to the political crisis of the North of Ireland.

The day also included (after this first discussion) Stephen Rea performing Aeneid Book VI 📖 (by Virgil, translated from Latin by Seamus Heaney) with cello music 🎻 by Neil Martin (who’s in the audience, far to the left, off screen) and a screening of and post-screening discussion about ‘Hard Border - Brexit a Cry from the Irish Border’ shortfilm 🎥 about the possible impact of Brexit on the invisible border between the Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 and Northern Ireland 🇬🇧 with its writer Clare Dwyer Hogg (also in the audience, directly in front of Stephen, blue- black-white patterned blouse)
