Recorded in October of 1921. Most renowned of the early Yodelers was George P. Watson. He cut many cylinders for Thomas Edison, the earliest was released in 1897. Yodel records were most popular during the first two decades of the 20th century. Watson recorded many songs for Columbia and Victor too. He also recorded them in English and in German. This is a fine example of one of his German recordings, and the flip side "Lauterbach" incorporates both languages.
