In today’s video, we’ll show you how to make a delicious and spicy Goat Liver Semi-Gravy in South Indian style. This flavorful dish is perfect for those who love rich and aromatic curries. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

500g goat liver, cleaned and cut into pieces
2 large onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
2 green chilies, slit
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
10-12 curry leaves
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Salt to taste
1 cup water

Instructions:
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add cumin seeds and curry leaves, sauté for a few seconds until aromatic.
Add the finely chopped onions and green chilies. Cook until the onions turn golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add the goat liver pieces and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are browned and coated with the masala.
Pour in 1 cup of water and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the liver is tender and the gravy thickens to a semi-gravy consistency.
Add garam masala and black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with steamed rice, roti, or paratha.

Tips:
Do not overcook the liver, as it can become tough. Cook just until tender.
Adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
