The Mail Runner | Delivering Letters to Children | Compassion Australia

Every year, Compassion delivers more than one million letters to sponsored children around the world. Sponsor letters from countries like Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom find their way across oceans and into the hands of children in some of the most remote corners of the globe. No matter where a child lives—an isolated mountain range, a bustling city, a vast valley—sponsor's letters reach them by plane, boat, motorbike and foot.

This is the story of how letters get to children in a remote village in northern Thailand: hand-delivered by Kari, the mail runner, after the stunning seven-hour motorbike journey that he makes twice per month.
