Miele S8 Power Plus Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner Unboxing & First Look

This is my new Miele S8 cylinder which was delivered on the 21st December, 2012 on the day the World was supposed to end. Well the World didn't end and I got to use this fabulous machine.

I have many Miele cleaners and didn't expect to be impressed with this model, but I was blown away by this vacuum. It is lighter than the S5, has a longer cord and seems to be better made. The suction is incredible and lifts the carpet. I can't see me using the machine on full power very often as the suction is far too powerful for most cleaning jobs.

Although this is the cheapest model in the range, it has all the features you could want. If you have pet hair to deal with, I would recommend the Cat & Dog version which comes with a full sized and mini turbo brush heads.
