He is CHRISTOPHER LAMBERT. The Highlander himself sits down for an interview to discuss some of his classic cult films, especially the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat!

#mortalkombat Lord Raiden (Lambert) handpicks three martial artists - law enforcement agent Sonya Blade (Bridgette Wilson), Lui Kang (Robin Shou) and action movie hotshot Johnny Cage (Linden Ashby) and after intense training, Raiden transports the trio to Outworld, the site of an inter-dimensional deadly fighting tournament. There, the three humans must defeat the warriors of the evil Shang Tsung (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) - or allow Tsung to take over the Earth.

Mortal Kombat premiered in the United States on August 18, 1995. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the martial art sequences, atmosphere, performances and production values, but criticized the toned-down violence from the games. Despite the mixed critical response, the film was well received by fans of the series, and the film became a Gen X 'klassic'.

#christopherlambert has made a name for himself playing amazing science-fiction icons such as Connor MacLeod in the classic Highlander, as well as Tarzan in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, King of the Apes.

During the #interview, Lambert discusses what he remembers about the project, what drew him to working with director Paul W.S. Anderson, and how cult classics have to be redefined. Not to mention of course, coming from two films that arguably have the best soundtracks ever.
