It is no secret that I have been OBSESSED with Majesties. I was already a fan of Obsequiae, but with Majesties I think they have pulled off something truly unique. Straight from 90's Gothenburg, but refined, the melodies and progressions are just in beautiful balance between simplicity and ornament. It's Melodic Death at its best! This track was an absolute joy to dissect, learn, and play. I learned it by ear, so I have no tabs... Sorry! Hopefully you can learn from the video if you are interested.

During practice, I couldn't even decide which one of the two (sometimes three) melodies I wanted to play! I couldn't keep myself from adding some slights variations during playing, as you can see. Such a blast. The solo at 2:25 took days of practice to get to speed since I'm not a great soloist, but I am very happy with the result.

You can hear the main guitar on the left channel, while others change right or left for clarity. The tunning of the track is half step down (Eb Standard), that is the tunning for the cream-coloured SG guitar. The red Jackosn Warrior used for some solos is on Db Standard (one and a half steps down).
