I'm re-reading the Anne of Green Gables series this summer. I decided to make a video tribute to Anne and Gilbert aka my first book OTP. They are my actual template for the perfect relationship. I can't even begin to explain how much these books influenced my life when I was like 12. Anne Shirley has been my inspiration and my role model for a long time.

The first movie is perfection. I didn't enjoy the second one that much because they basically skipped "Anne of Avonlea" and "Anne of the Island" in favor of "Anne of Windy Poplars". Like... who the heck thought it was a good idea? Book 2 and 3 are my favourite. But I did enjoy the scenes in Avonlea. Let's not even talk about the third movie okay...

Voice-overs:

Gilbert: "Can't we be friends? This childishness has gone on long enough, don't you think?

Gilbert: "It'll be three years before I finish medical school, and even then, there won't be any diamond sunburst or marble halls."
