Who thought these beautiful gardens could be found in the centre of Stratford upon Avon. Today I am at Shakespeare's New Place.

New Place was the final home of William Shakespeare's where he died in 1616. New Place in Stratford upon Avon has since been demolished but the land still belongs to the Shakespeare's Trust and a beautiful garden has been built here.

An adult ticket costs £27 and will give you entrance to The New Place, Shakespeare's Birthplace and Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Residents of Stratford upon Avon go free.
