Mash Production Technology:
Mash is a pulse crop that is grown in irrigated areas and barani areas as well.
Variety:
a) Urooj 2011
b) Chakwal Mash
Sowing time:
Spring: March
Kharf crop: July
Seedrate: 8-10 kg per acre
Fertilizers: 1 bag DAP and Half bag SOP at land preparation time
Irrigations: Mash crop needs three irrigations
First after 18-22 days after sowing
Second at flowering stage
Third at pods development stage
Harvesting: When 80-90% pods become mature then harvest whole field and keep in field for 5-7 days to make them dry.Then thresh it and get the grains.
Before storage, ensure dryness of grains.
