#Cheeyappara or #CheeyapparaWaterfalls is one of the mesmerising fall near #Adimali on the way to #Munnar. Another waterfall known as #Valarawaterfall is just one kilometre away from this #7StageCascade.

The #ChiyapareiFalls cascades down in seven steps. The National Highway 85 passes through the middle of the hillside, cutting the #Waterfall into two sections: one portion above the road and one below, which is barely visible from the road above. Sadly, the close proximity of the road took away the beauty of the falls to a certain extent.

During the monsoon season, the volume of water gushing down increases substantially giving life and vigor to this #Waterfall. Just stand in front of it and you can feel the energy pass on to you! Seeing the water gloriously #cascade down the seven steps and numerous little falls is simply a breathtaking experience. It's a sight to behold forever! The lush green surrounding complement its opulent natural splendor. Several species of flora and fauna can be found in the adjacent area enclosed in the casket of a dense forest.

#Cheeyappara Waterfall is a tributary of the #Periyar River. It get rich in water during the monsoon season and dried up during the summer season.

Located between #Neryamangalam and #Adimali along the National Highway 85, the #CheeyapparaWaterfall is one of the easily accessible tourist spot on the way to Munnar. Best time to visit this Waterfall for a splendid view is June to August. There's no entry fee or timing to visit this Waterfall.
