❇️ General instructions and suggestions for meditation 🧘

1️⃣ Diet 🍽️🍴 In order to meditate properly it is helpful to have an empty stomach. Meditation work best before meal or at least 90 minutes after having eaten. When the stomach is full one can become drowsy or even distracted by indigestion.

2️⃣ Place 🏡 Avoid practicing under a fan or near an air conditioner. Practice meditation in a ventilated and clean room. Weather should not be too cold, too hot or windy, Avoid practicing meditation in sunlight.

3️⃣ Clothes 🥻👕👖 It is necessary for you to feel comfortable and relaxed when you start meditation. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes. In meditation temperature often drops when it gets deep rest so you can use shawl.

4️⃣ Special times for meditation 🌞 Early in the morning is very effective time to meditate. The world outside is quiet. the house /family is quiet. If you have no time in morning then you can practice in evening after sunset.

5️⃣ Regular practice ⏰ Try to do meditation at same time, same place everyday as regularity increases will power Even if you practice meditation for at least 10 minutes but you must establish a daily routine and follow it strictly.

6️⃣ Posture for meditation 🧘‍♂️ Meditation is normally performed in cross legged sitting posture with back straight, but if you are not comfortable in recommended posture of meditation, you can also practice meditation while sitting on a chair.

7️⃣ Eyes and face 😇 The eyes are directly connected to the brain keeping the eyes open keeps you alert because the brain is hardwired to notice any change in the environment and evaluate if it poses threat. Keeping your eyes closed in meditation allows you to bring your attention inward and fully rest. Maintain a gentle smile throughout your practice keeps you relaxed, peaceful and enhances your meditation experience. You will feel the difference.

8️⃣ Pre-meditative physical exercise 🤸🏻 if your body is too stiff to sit then you should practice pre-meditative exercise to loosen you joints to sit longer in meditation.

9️⃣ Palming practice 🤲🏻 After completion of the meditation don't be hurry to open your eyes or to move around. Simply remind present in the stillness you have cultivated. Take a few moments to soak this in. Then when you are ready, gradually become aware of your body and your surroundings. After that rub your both palm and place your palm on the face and open your eyes behind your palms. It is right way to open eyes after meditation.
