Desert Night Camo Uniform

This video is on the history and use of one of my favorite American camo patterns the desert night pattern. This pattern was developed in the 1980’s to defeat 1970’s era soviet night vision in use at the time throughout the Middle East. This pattern of camo was printed on an over suit to be worn of the 6 color desert bdu uniform. The uniform was used by the Americans, the British, and the Australians in operation desert storm and desert shield of 1990-91 respectively. Ultimately this uniform was quickly phased out of use by developing night vision technology. Hopefully you liked this video and subscribed if you like this sort of stuff.
