As an avid NFT collector and founder/President of my high school’s Crypto Club, I was fascinated by this new medium. I wanted to create my own.
Zombie Prep seamlessly blends the unexpected realms of zombies and preppy fashion across 100 captivating NFTs. I've meticulously crafted each of these 100 unique characters from scratch. Every NFT introduces a one-of-a-kind zombie persona, adorned in preppy attire. This project challenges artistic boundaries by uniting the eerie allure of the undead with the sophistication of preparatory school aesthetics. From brainstorming each character's personality to handcrafting their styles, Zombie Prep is a testament to the creative process that brought these captivating figures to life.
While it seems the whole NFT/crypto craze has left as quickly as it arrived, I am still holding out hope that it might have a resurgence one day. But, even if that is not the case, it was fun being able to create my very own NFT collection.

The video shows my process for creating a Zombie Prep NFT. After creating each unique trait like blue skin or an orange sweater, I organized them into layers to speed up the process of creation. Rather than re-draw each of the 100 characters, this process enabled me to quickly assemble the zombies in a fun and efficient way.
