Longboard Talk #3- The Harley Ingleby HI4, Tolhurst Shape with Thunderbolt Technology

A quick review of the Harley Ingleby HI 4 Model , Tolhurst Shape with Thunderbolt Technology.
My first impression on this board was very positive. It’s an extremely loose and dynamic tail surfing longboard. Ideal board for those who want to put emphasis on their tail surfing. This board is probably the loosest board I’ve ever ridden. I surfed it with a 7” center fin (Wayne Rich Power Fin by True Ames) accompanied with Future sidebites. The board has the option to be ridden as a quad or as a single fin if you so desire.
This board is not a noserider oriented board but it will noseride well if the rider knows what they’re doing.
The board is what I would label as a modern high performance longboard. Ideal IMO for those that want to approach longboard surfing mostly off the tail for explosive maneuvers such as deep bottom turns, cutbacks, floaters, off the lips, aerials, etc, etc. While still being able to noseride.
Ideal board for punchy waves from chest high to way overhead.
