How to change the side of the Roman shade lift mechanism.
1. Remove the first screw and slide the mechanism out
2. Remove the second screw and lift the mechanism off the square rod. Do not remove the rod!
3. Remove the end cap.
4. Push the square rod in so that it pops out on the side where the end cap was.
5. Screw the mechanism onto the square rod. Push the mechanism in and tighten the screw.
6. Insert the end cap onto the free part of the Roman shade mechanism and tighten the screw.
That's it, you have just changed the Roman shade mechanism from the right position to the left.
