Maratha Reservation: CM Shinde Convenes An All-Party Meeting As Maratha Quota Protests Intensifies

Maratha Reservation: The fast-unto-death protest by Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil has entered its seventh day, leading to escalating incidents of violence and unrest. In response to the ongoing protests, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has called for an all-party meeting on Wednesday morning to address the situation. The state is currently witnessing intense demonstrations and agitation over Maratha reservation, prompting the suspension of internet services in Jalna and the temporary halt of MSRTC bus services in five Marathwada districts. The unrest took a violent turn, with multiple attacks on political leaders and their residences in Beed, including the vandalism of Maharashtra Minister and Ajit Pawar Group Leader Hasan Mushrif car on Wednesday morning.
