Bradley Group served as Principal Contractor for this project, which included mechanical demolition, asbestos removal (both notifiable and non-notifiable), and the removal of slabs and foundations.

Bradley structural engineers designed the temporary works for the remaining structures left in situ. We ensured effective public liaison with neighbours and traders, and implemented a comprehensive town centre traffic management plan

All hard-core arising were crushed to a 6F2 specification for reuse, amounting to approximately 10,000 tons.

Throughout the project, Bradley Group contributed to the social value and economic growth of the local community. We created apprenticeships, work placements, and training opportunities. We employed two ex-offenders and donated to training courses that supported individuals with CV and interview techniques.

Upon completion, the site was prepared to make way for the business and skills hub BASE2, residential developments, and a new car park.
