I save at a save prompt on the file that I want to get early light column on. (File 2)
Start BiT
Enter the goddess statue with the file that have all 3 tablet pieces selected. (File 3)
Select a file that has saved outside of Fire Sanctuary to trigger the Fi conversation. (File 1)
Select the file with the 3 tablet pieces and when the Fi conversation finishes, the pillar raises from the floor.
I now pull out bombs to kill myself while the file with all 3 tablets is selected. (File 3)
I choose continue. I now have all 3 tablet pieces.
I insert the tablet piece and wait until link have inserted the tablet piece and stands still, then count to 3, and load the file I want to get early light column on.

Done.

I show a little bonus at the end, I show what happens when you try to insert the first tablet piece when the 3rd one is already inserted. The game freezes. This was the first time I did this, so I was not aware that it would crash.
If you insert the 2nd piece before the 1st one the game wont crash, and I find that quite interesting.

This can be done without having to kill yourself, I just do not remember how I did it. I'll look into it.
