Target Audience
This activity is designed for pediatricians, family physicians and im/ped healthcare providers.
Statement of Need
As pediatricians treat a variety of issues, and clinical guidelines and best practices evolve this conference will provide an
educational venue to highlight best practices for evidence-based practices in the management and treatment of the
pediatric and adolescent patients. This program will provide a multidisciplinary approach to the care of pediatric and
adolescent patients and focus on the medical management of common diagnoses and important challenges facing
pediatricians. The latest clinical guidelines and best practices for common problems encountered will be discussed.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:
1) Define MIS-C.
2) Discuss symptoms and treatments for MIS-C.
3) Identify COVID-19 and athletes return to play.
