Stunning Hexie Quilt - a Step by Step Guide to Free Motion Quilting

This quilt is a stunner! And I trust the free motion quilting will be too 😄

This amazing hexie quilt was entirely hand pieced by a Honduran lady…and I get to quilt it! It'll all be free motion quilting (not guided by a computer) and I'll talk through design choices, and "audition" them before your eyes.

A few notes for this week:

I definitely will only do part of the quilt, more to follow in future episodes

design choices, which will be super fun on this fantastic floral wreath, and how I “audition” them

thread options, and discussion of color changes

advancing, basting, and maintaining “flat and square”

decisions about the perimeter shape, which is of course hexies and therefore not straight
