Risking Her Life to Play Sports in Afghanistan

I want to assure you all that she Is Safe and not In the country anymore. We arranged for her to leave Afghanistan some time ago. We are also working on helping out Everyone else ⚠️

Nazima Khairzad is a talented athlete from Afghanistan: a country where, if you happen to be born as a girl, you're expected to stay home, and NOT do sports. But Nazima is defying tradition and threats, to follow her greatest passions in life: skiing, hiking, running, and doing sports. Her extraordinary story inspired me to travel to Afghanistan in the first place, and I'm proud to share it with you all.
