Logging Business Upgrade: New Equipment in Action | Riverbend Springs Farm | FS 25 | Timelapse #19

Welcome back to the Riverbend Springs Farm Timelapse. At first, we focused on selling the flour we produced to generate funds for further investments. Now that the crops is growing and require no immediate attention, our efforts have shifted toward expanding our logging business. With each profit earned, we invest in new equipment to enhance our operations.
One of our latest purchases is a rope machine for skidding logs, which we attach to a tractor and transport to our forest plot. Using our excavator, we cut down trees and then use a skidder to drag them to a central location. After switching the excavator's attachments, we process the trees into logs and deliver them to the sawmill. To maintain a clean worksite, we’ve rented a wood chipper to handle small branches efficiently.
With this new equipment, we are elevating our logging operations, becoming more professional and productive in the industry.
