Washer started making a noise that sounded like grinding. I checked inlet valves and tubes up top but they looked okay. I found a squeaky spring and greased it. I found that noise and vibration was coming from low in the washer, which to me meant pump. I took apart the washer, replaced the pump and the noise was gone. I also took apart the old pump to see what failed. Interesting. In the end, I fixed it and saved a lot of money.
