Shenandoah - The first globally popular American song

Описание к видео Shenandoah - The first globally popular American song

We know the song "Shenandoah" today as a pillar of Americana and traditional jazz, but 200 years ago it was a love song, then a work song, and then the first globally popular song that was "Made in America."

"Shenandoah" tells the story of an unrequited love between a white American and the daughter of an Iroquois chief named Oshenandoah, but the story of the song's journey around the world is a saga in itself, as this short but sweet little video shows.

The music is Shenandoah by FoOp CatzAway Band meets Dr. Dum d'Dum. For more FoOP CatzAway, please see https://www.youtube.com/results?searc.... For more Dr. Dum d'Dum, please see    / @dr.dumddum904  .

This video is the creation of Bruce Brown, who conceived the idea, wrote the script, edited the video, and played electric bass on the music. For more about Bruce Brown, please see https://astonisher.com.
