Geopolitical issues and nation-state cyber-attacks are also on the rise and it’s important to be aware they are indiscriminate, with the attackers becoming more refined and more skilled. About the speakers:

Dr Carly Belermand is Assistant Professor in the International Relations of the Middle East in the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University. Her research is situated between the fields of Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA) and Conflict Resolution, with a particular focus on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Mark Belgrove is Head of Cyber Consultancy at Exponential-e, a respected security professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the IT Security market, with a solid background in delivering security policies, procedures and standards.
