Die Big Band Connection gehört zu den rennomiertesten Amateur Jazz Orchestern im Raum Zürich/Winterthur. Seit dem Jahre 2000 begeistert die Formation in authentischer Big-Band Besetzung ihr Publikum mit groovigem Swing und Latin.

The Winterthur-based Big Band Connection was founded in April 2000 in its original formation of 17 instrumentalists. Under the direction of Bernhard Schoch and complemented by highly expressive vocalist Sonja Morgenegg, the talented musicians play a groovy Big Band swing as well as Latin and Salsa. The 19-member formation sets high standards of precision and authenticity. Let yourself be carried away by the magic of the Big Band sound and enjoy a musical journey through time.

We offer the right sound for every occasion, whether in concert, for a dance or as musical accompaniment for any event. On request we also perform together with a Swing Show group (Lindy-Hop). We play in jazz clubs, at festivals, corporate events, cultural events, city festivals, galas, matinees, etc.
References include a gig at the Moods Jazz Club in Zurich and appearances at the Greifensee Jazz Festival, Jazzcontainer Uster, the Casino Theatre in Winterthur and the Kammgarn Cultural Centre in Schaffhausen.
