The Elimu Mashinani Stakeholders’ Forum held on 2nd September 2025 at Maasai Mara University brought together key education stakeholders under the Ministry of Education’s State Department for Basic Education.

During the forum, Principal Secretary Prof. Julius K. Bitok reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening Special Needs Education through the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE). He emphasized the rollout of Educational Assessment and Resource Centres (EARCs) across the country under KISE’s mandate — ensuring that no learner is left behind.

The event was broadcast live on Citizen TV and attended by senior education officials, including Dr. Norman Kiogora, Director of KISE, who represented the Institute.
