MTA New York City Bus : The Retired 2002-2004 Orion VII CNGs

These buses were primarily at Jackie Gleason & West Farms Depots. During their later part in their life cycles, some of the 7500s & 7600s ended up at Spring Creek Depot and were retired there after service usage.

What you'll see here is a massive compilation video of Orion VII CNGs in service in The Bronx & Brooklyn, along with them being used on shuttle bus routes as well.

The batch between 7560 to 7684 had a mix of Detroit Diesel Series 50G and Series 50MK-G engines with Allison B400R5 transmissions, 7685 to 7819 Detroit Diesel Series 50MK-G engines and ZF ECOMAT-2 5HP592C transmissions. 7691 & 7746 had Doosan GL11K engines as an experiment to see if it was worth repowering the buses.
