Judgment is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the same team behind the Yakuza series. It was first released in 2018 for PlayStation 4 and later on other platforms in 2022.

The game is set in Kamurocho (a fictional district modeled after Tokyo’s Kabukicho) and follows Takayuki Yagami, a former lawyer turned private detective, as he investigates a series of murders.
It combines investigative gameplay—like tailing suspects and gathering evidence—with the intense combat mechanics familiar to Yakuza. The story is heavily narrative-driven, with themes of justice, morality and redemption.
