Kedarnath Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in India, located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in the country. Situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet), the Kedarnath Temple is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and breathtaking natural beauty.

The temple opens in late April or early May and remains accessible until November, before heavy snowfall begins. Devotees undertake the yatra with deep faith, often chanting “Har Har Mahadev” and offering prayers at the ancient stone temple, believed to be over a thousand years old.
